Swine Flu Vaccination Clinics:

Swine flu (H1N1)is a new flu virus that was first reported in April 2009 in Mexico and spread rapidly across the world, with cases being confirmed in most other countries.

The H1N1 visus is different from seasonal flu in that is is mild in many cases. In a minority of cases the visus has been known to cause death due to complications caused by viral pneumonia and lung failure.

People in high risk groups include those with respiritory conditions, pregnant women, obese people (BMI > 30) indigenous people, and those with chronic cardiac, neurological and immune conditions.

Children are also known to be at a higher risk of serious complications as well as rapid spreaders of the virus.
