Payment
Payment by credit card, EFTPOS and cash is due at time of consultation.
Certain consultations are not covered by Medicare. Eg WorkCover, travel immunisation, some medicals and healthchecks. Details available from reception. Payment is required at time of consultation. You can make your claim as appropriate.
Bulk billed items. Medical procedures, immunisation (not travel), asthma, diabetes and aged care clinics.
We are happy to discuss bulk billing in long-term illnesses or in periods of financial hardship. Please speak to the doctor.
Medicare HIC Online
This initiative from Medicare Australia saves you having to go to Medicare to claim your rebate. If you notify us of your bank BSB and account number we will securely contact Medicare and they will deposit your rebate into your nominated bank account in 3 working days.
Unfortunately we cannot follow up delayed payments or wrong bank details (unless we have made the mistake) - you will have to follow this up with Medicare/HIC 132 011 or your bank.
