Urgent Appointments:

Please let the receptionist know if you feel you need to be seen urgently. You will be put through to the nurse to discuss arrangements.

You should always be able to see a doctor on the day of your choice although your preferred doctor may not be available.:

Home Visits:

These are available - please give us as much notice as possible.

Running on time:

Our standard appointments are 10 - 15 minutes. If you require more time please ask for a double appointment. Psycological and workplace problems, 3 or more issues, an issue plus a pap smear, skin checks, or if you are tired all the time, are examples when double appointments should be booked.

We may ask you to return for a second appointment if it seems sime is running out.

Reminder Systems:

Systems are in place for immunisation, pap smears, diabetes checks, and other conditions. Let us know if you do not want to receive these.

Privacy:

A privacy policy is available for review.

Research:

De-identified information is collected from this practice for research purposes. If you do not wish your ananymous information to be passed on , we can remove your name form the process.

Students:

Students for JCU are present on occasion. They are highly supervised. If you do not wish to see the students, let reception know.

After-hours:

Complaints:
